Boat Policies

Charters are booked by reservation. A deposit of $100 (cash or check) is required within 7 days of booking the trip to lock the date. The balance is payable cash on the day of the trip before the departure of the boat from the dock. We do not accept credit cards at any time.

All cancelations must be made 10 day prior of the trip for a deposit refund or rescheduling your trip. Otherwise the deposit will be forfeited.

A phone call to the Captain the evening before the trip; between 4:30 & 5:00 pm must be made to confirm the trip (to get a final head count & check wind/sea conditions).

Charters that cannot sail due to unfavorable weather/sea conditions as only determined by the Captain can be rescheduled or refunded. Rain does not always stop us from fishing.

Beer is permitted; used in moderation, cans only (NO GLASS). NO HARD LIQUOR. Any passenger who becomes intoxicated will subject the charter to being terminated and return to the dock. No refund will be given.

Unlawful drugs will not be tolerated and will result in termination of the charter with no refund given.

Children 12 years and under are required by the State of NJ to wear a personal flotation device (life vest) which is provided. Please inform the child in advance of the trip.

The adult(s) in the group are responsible for the actions and behavior of the kids in the group; at the marina and on the boat.

Any fishing equipment that is damaged or lost overboard, as well as any damage to the boat and/or contents of the boat will be the financial responsibility of that charter group to reimburse Capt Craig before leaving the marina.

Footwear must have light colored soles. No dark soles please.

What To Bring

Lunch and/or snacks. I have cooler on board with ice. Please leave your cooler in the car.

Beverages – NO GLASS, only cans or plastic. (Beer is permitted in moderation, no hard liquor).

Sunglasses, hat, sunscreen (lotion only) NO SPRAY – it damages the boat & tackle.

Warm clothing (it can get chilly on the water, particularly early & late in the season)

Footwear with light colored soles. (No dark soles please)

Rain gear (better to have it & not use it, than need it & not have it). Every day is a rainy day in the fish’s world.

If needed – motion sickness medication/patch (most formulas recommend to start using it the night before, as well as before boarding the boat). Please check your label/directions.

We have Sirius Satellite Radio on board. Ask Capt Craig to tune in to your favorite channel.
